Pediatric Advanced Life Support 

Course Description:  The PALS course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children.  This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others, who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements.

PALS Skills:  This course can be done for initial PALS certification or renewal but, is NOT recommended for first time PALS students. This is a Hybrid course with an online portion done through the American Heart Association, which can take anywhere from 4-6 hours, and an in class skills testing portion, that is approximately 2 hours. 

After completion of the online portion, students attend a structured PALS hands-on skills session. The skills session is required in order to complete the training and receive your AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification card.
