The NAEMT TECC (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) course teaches EMS Providers how to treat severe trauma in high-threat civilian environments, focusing on life-saving skills by applying the MARCH mnemonic.
TECC programs include a blend of presentations, guided discussion, and hands-on practice structured around these phases: Direct Threat (under fire), Indirect Threat (threat suppressed), and Evacuation Care with the aim of ultimately reducing preventable deaths until definitive care becomes available.
The first day utilizes our 3CPR classroom for lectures and the following day focuses on hands-on practice. Field instruction will give participants the opportunity to practice skills in realistic scenarios with simulated gun fire, smoke machines, strobe lights, fire works, simulated blood, etc.
Upon completion of this course, you will receive certification valid for 4-years through the NAEMT and 16-hours of CAPCE credit.
