The NAEMT PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support) course, developed in conjunctiion with the American College of Surgeons, is a leading continuing education program for EMS Providers at all levels.

The 2-day PHTLS course promotes critical thinking as the foundation for providing quality care. It is based on the belief that, when given sound knowledge and key treatment principles, EMS Providers are capable of making effective decisions regarding patient care.

Students will participate in lectures, learning stations, review stations and skills testing scenarios. 

Comprehensive, evidenced-based coverage incorporates the latest research across all aspects of prehospital trauma in one convenient resource.

The NAEMT PHTLS curriculum includes:

• Civilian Tactical EMS Support (TEMS)

Upon completion of this course, you will receive certification valid for 4-years through the NAEMT and 16-hours of CAPCE credit.
